First, calculate your annual salary:

($1,170 per month) x (12 months) = $14,040

Next add the value of housing:

If housing = $1,000 per month, then total income including salary and housing is $26,040.

If housing = $1,250 per month, then total income including salary and housing is $29,040.

Now figure out how many days in the year you actually worked. There are 261 weekdays in 2013. Subtract the 11 holidays, and you have 250 working days. Now subtract the 15 days of vacation, and you are left with 235 working days.

Assuming you work 8 hour days, that means you worked a total of 1,880 hours in a year.

Now divide your total income by the number of hours and you get an hourly rate between:

$13.85 and $15.45
