If you have the density in kg/L, you can use that number to convert.

Otherwise, the standard for 1 tonne of oil equivalent would be:

1 toe = 1165 L

So one ton of oil is approximately 1,165 liters.

Another useful set of conversions is:

1 barrel of oil = 42 US gallons ≈ 34.9723 UK gallons ≈ 158.99 liters ≈ 0.1364 tonnes
