First, convert the fraction to a decimal-inches. To do this, divide the numerator by the denominator. So, 3/8" = 3 divided by 8, which equals: 0.375"
Then, use the conversions on-line to convert the 0.375" to any metric equivalent. (or multiply it by the conversion factor given).
