There is no conversion factor because FTU/kg and % are not the same thing. While % just indicates how much product (by weight) ends up in the feed, FTU/kg indicates enzyme activity. You must know your 3-phytase's strength (the number of FTU per gram, which is often provided by your supplier) to bridge the two. After obtaining that, it's simple to convert it into a percentage by dividing your target FTU/kg by the FTU per gram, which yields grams per kilogram of feed.
👉 For instance, if you require 500 FTU/kg and your product has 10,000 FTU/g, it comes to 0.05 g per kilogram of feed, or roughly 0.005%.
