Volume m3/hr = Area m2 x velocity m/s x 3600
You know certain things;
480 = 1.52 x area m2 x 3600
so transpose to;
area m2 = 480 / (1.52 x 3600)
= 480 / 5472
= 0.0877 metres per second.
