Prefix in the unit of Bits/Bytes?   (11/19/2016, 1:39 PM)

What is the next plausible unit (or the prefix of it) to be used, when measuring the capacity of storage mediums. 1 TB is a standard today even in commercial HDD. I can not imagine the situation (due to exponential growth of capacity, which goes step by step together with the advancement of technology) in 10 or even 100 years.

P.S.
An add on to this question would be the supposed storage capacity of human brain, estimated to be around 2,5 petabytes.I'm a physician, but find this comparison such a ROUGH estimation, to be actually worthless. What would be a more "down to earth" unit to be used in Your opinion. Though this should be "my" field, to be honest, I actually haven't thought about that for a second.
But anyway, it seems, that even now bytes or bits are becoming somewhat obsolete in some areas as units for measurement of capacity. To get to the question: What would be the best replacement, when thinking with a logic, that was used in measuring distances in space? Namely instead of using kilometres, light years are much more easy to grasp and a more "elegant" solution.
