You need to know the density of the processed meat in pounds/cubic foot. You can estimate that one cubic foot of freezer space will hold between 22 and 28 pounds of beef.

You need freezer space, about one cubic foot per 45 pounds of meat products.

So it really depends on the particular cut of beef you are storing. If 1 cubic foot holds 22 pounds of beef, then a freezer with a capacity of 6.8 cubic feet will hold about 150 pounds of beef. On the other hand, if 1 cubic foot holds 45 pounds, then 6.8 cubic feet would hold about 300 pounds.

Based on these rough estimates, you could hold somewhere between 150-300 pounds of beef in a 6.8 cubic foot freezer.
