µg/mL to mL

I have a protocol collecting a drug dose in µg/mL but the form where result is entered collects in mL. I need to know the possible number of digits and decimal places possible to collect mL amount. i.e. 23, 23.x, 23.xx, etc. Is decimal collection possible. Tech will look at syringe to determine the amount of drug used.
