You need to know the density of the paint in grams/litre.
Sometimes this is printed on the paint can. If it's in different units, you can use our site to convert. For example, let's say the paint you're using has a density of 10 pounds per gallon. Then use this page:
https://www.convertunits.com/from/10+pounds/gallon/to/grams/litre
That shows that 10 pounds/gallon is about 1200 grams/litre. Convert whatever density units you find to grams/litre.
Now if you have say 4800 grams of paint, then you'll need 4800/1200, or 4 litres.
