First off thank you for recognizing the legitimate method for calculating accurate annual standard hours. Why is this not consistent information within the payroll industry? If you look at the top google site for calculation of gross annual wages they take the 52 weeks in a year logic. And many other sites don't seem to understand how many hours in a year people work! Why is there such a discrepancy? Why are employers allowed to use bogus conversion formulas (52 week formula). I am only referring to the case for hourly non-exempt workers.
