Yes. For a liquid moving in a pipe line, you need to know the following parameters to calculate the head loss.
Liquid flow rate, viscosity of liquid, length of pipeline, and internal diameter of pipe.
The head loss is directly proportional to the first three parameters and inversely proportional to the internal diameter of pipeline.
