I am trying to calculate the amount BTUs a short ton of northern Ash would generate compared to bituminous coal. The mission is to grind/pelletize blighted northern ash to be mixed with coal to lower CO2 emissions.
There are tens of millions of ash trees in northern Ohio that will become a burden if they are not utilized.
