The tablespoon unit is a measure of volume, while grams are a measure of weight. On average, 1 tbsp = 15 grams, but it does depend on the substance. For example, 1 U.S. tablespoon of granulated white sugar is usually around 12 to 13 grams. But 1 tablespoon of unsifted flour might only be 7.5 grams. There is no direct conversion without knowing the density of the material you are weighing.
