Pressure conversions are confusing because you generally need to know more information before converting. The key is to know whether you are measuring differential pressure between two points, or absolute pressure. Absolute pressure can also be measured relative to the atmosphere (psig) or relative to an absolute zero vacuum (psia).
The psig unit can have two different meanings, depending on whether you want differential pressure or absolute pressure. To handle both cases, we've now added two conversion forms. You can calculate both relative and absolute pressure conversions depending on your specific application.
