You can't calculate the area of an arbitrary shape from its perimeter length without knowing more about the actual shape.

For example, if a circle has a radius of 1, then perimeter length would be 2*pi and the area would be pi. So the area is equal to half of the perimeter length for a circle of radius 1.

But if you have a square with each side of length 1, then the perimeter length is 4 but the area is 1, so now the area is equal to one fourth of the perimeter length for a square with sides of length 1.
