I converted the information I found on a jar of chocolate spread from Belgium, which listed as the calories per Tbsp as 65 kj, in an attempt to find the caolries in gram measurement. The answer came back aprox. 15,529 grams. Not sure how to interpret that information, I know that the spread is high in caloies for sure, but 15,000 calories per Tbsp is impossibly unrealistic! There is no way 1Tbsp of sugar, chocolate & oil could provide 3/4 of a persons caloric intake in a day! I assume I may be misunderstanding the conversion, can anyone help me to comprehend the answer I received? Thanks so much! The jar also lists the fat content as 6g per Tbsp which is 54 calories, so my guess is it's somewhere close to 100 calories per Tbsp.
