One decimeter is 1/10 of meter .One cubic decemiter is one liter.That mean base is 1 dcmx1 dcm and hight is 1 dcm =it is one liter of water
Now we come on meter 10dcm (or 1 meter)x 10 dcm (agin 1 meter ) in base it is 100 dcm (or 100 liter )now we multiplay with 10 dcm (or 1 meter )in hight x10 =1000 dcm or 1000 liters
That how you can understand that one meter cubic is 1000 liter of water!
