1 µg/cm² x 1 mg/1000 µg x (100 cm/m)² = 10 mg/m²
Write the fractions with a horizontal line instead of slash, and the units cancellation will be clearer.
I copied this from JohnS reply in Dec 2008 at the 'onlineconversion' forum "Re: convert ug/cm2 to mg/m2".
so I'm supposing 46 by looking at the 1 ug per cm2 being 10 mg per m2 in his conversion equation. What do you think, yes or no?
