If your lab sheet uses K/ul instead of mm3, multiply by 1000 to get the value in mm3. For example, on the sample lab sheet, the total WBC is 0.7 K/ul. Therefore, 0.7 x 1000 = 700 mm3. (per website: http://www.reddlegg.com/Leukemia/blood_counts_and_record_keeping.htm
